Hi – I’m Courtney, I’m a hairstylist who’s been working in the Inner West for the past seven years. I’ve recently moved to A Loft Story in Newtown — a giant plant-filled warehouse tucked just behind King St — where I’m busy getting to know new clients and welcoming regulars. Creating a safe, supportive space for my clients is really important to my approach in this industry. 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️

I’ve been constantly learning and relearning everything about hair for over ten years, following in the footsteps of my grandmother, Cherry, who owned her own salon in Aotearoa.

Lately I’ve been focusing on creating intentional, easy-to-wear hair, that styles itself with considerate shape and movement. I enjoy all things colour — from subtle, enriching changes to soft blonde highlights to big pops of different vibrant colours — tailoring the colour to my clients’ needs and self-expression. :)
